The demand for in-home dental services continues to grow, yet patients have a hard time finding dental hygienists able to do the work at an affordable price. This rings especially true for homebound patients like the elderly, immunosuppressed, or those with physical or mental disabilities.
There are many considerations in prescribing the right type of treatment. From mobility to medical history, or age to past dental experiences, each factor can really influence the type of care they receive.
This is why we work closely with family members, caregivers, and even primary physicians to make sure they are getting the critical dental care they need. We are committed to seeing their oral health needs are met.
We also work with patients that want discrete services, experience extreme dental anxiety, or just don’t have the time to make it into the office.

Family & Caretaker Testimonials
Michelle’s care brings a smile to those who need it most. She has been providing in-home dental hygiene care for my elderly relative for many years and it truly is a blessing.
She knows how to treat each person with skill, kindness, humor, and respect. She is an invaluable member of my elder’s care team!
— Sandy T.
“It has been a very good thing having Michelle do in-home dental hygiene for my developmentally disabled adult daughter.
Michelle has been very patient and understanding in dealing with the challenges involved, and now my daughter only has to go to a dental office for check-ups. She, also, gets along well with the staff at my daughter's group home where she has offered advice in dental care which they have appreciated.”
— Bill W.
“The Blende Group referred us to Michelle years ago. I couldn’t imagine anyone being able to provide dental care without our special needs daughter being sedated…. Well, I’d never met anyone like Michelle! Every time she comes to our home, sets up her work station (following all safely procedures) she is able to do a little more to clean and examine our daughters teeth.
Now many visits later, our daughter’s mouth is completely examined (without sedation), her teeth are cleaned and we are confident in Michelle’s assessment for follow up needs.
If you are looking for in-home dental cleaning and oral examination you can’t do any better than request a consult/cleaning with Michelle!!”
— Linda H.
A Complete Visit Includes:
TEETH CLEANING
We only do manual hand scaling as it avoids aspirating water into the lungs. Not only does this prevent pneumonia, but it is much quieter than ultrasonic scaling and prevents aerosols from entering the air.
ORAL CANCER SCREENING
This helps to identify mouth cancer early or lesions that may lead to cancer.
TEETH POLISHING
Done with an as-needed basis to help remove stains and gives teeth a nice smooth, clean feel.
FLUORIDE TREATMENT
Fights tooth decay especially for elderly patients with dry mouth, known as xerostomia.
COMPLIMENTARY SOFT TOOTHBRUSH & FLOSS
Because brushing and flossing are important!
ORAL HYGIENE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN TO CAREGIVER
Some patients may have trouble caring for their teeth themselves, so we work with caregivers to ensure they get the best oral care possible.
